The plasma care® product line consists of handy, portable medical devices that generate cold atmospheric plasma from the ambient air.
It uses cold plasma wherever bacteria, viruses and fungi can multiply.
IntroductionSpecification

The plasma care® product range inactivates bacteria including multi-resistant pathogens, viruses, fungi and spores. At the same time, it activates the healing process. Over 30,000 successful wound treatments have already been carried out with mobile plasma care®.

Great technology in a handy device

The cover

The cover with touch button for switching the appliance on and off. The ergonomically designed housing contains all the electronics for controlling the device.

The plasma source

The plasma sourse is the heart of plasma care®. This is where the plasma is generated by micro-discharges. It is equipped with wafer-thin ceramic plates and sensitive electrical contacts.

The sterile disposable spacer

The sterile disposable spacer is used for each treatment. It is attached to the plasma source and guarantees the hygienic use of the device – even in the busy daily practice routine. A new spacer must be used for each treatment, which is ensured by an RFID unit (radio-frequency identification); it switches the device off if a spacer is used repeatedly and displays this accordingly on the user interface.

Docking station

The plasma care® batteries are charged wirelessly through the docking station to prevent liquid and dirt from entering the housing. Inductive charging ensures that the user and patient cannot come into contact with live components. Once charged, the battery lasts for approx. 120 applications.

The power supply unit

The power supply unit is connected to the docking station.

All housing parts

All housing parts are made from medical plastics. The surfaces are made of biocompatible plastics. The operating elements and LED lights are integrated into the housing in such a way that there are no openings to prevent dirt and deposits. This enables easy cleaning with wipe disinfection.
